About Pro Tools MP Software

Audio Interface Requirements

• A qualified M-Audio hardware interface is required to use Pro Tools MP software
• The M-Audio interface must be connected to your computer to use Pro Tools MP software
• Pro Tools MP supports the use of any single supported M-Audio peripheral. Simultaneous use of multiple M-Audio peripherals is not supported.
• Other audio interfaces from M-Audio have not been qualified with MP
• Audio interfaces by Digidesign or any manufacturer other than the M-Audio interfaces listed below will not work with Pro Tools MP software

Authorization Requirements

• Pro Tools MP 9 requires a Pro Tools MP 9 iLok authorization, with that license installed on an iLok USB key connected to your computer.
• An iLok USB hardware key is included with all new full product purchases of Pro Tools MP 9 software purchases
• An iLok is not included with Pro Tools MP 9 upgrade purchases
• Previous licenses for Pro Tools M-Powered (v6.8, 7.x, 8.x) will not authorize Pro Tools MP 9, and the Pro Tools MP 9 license will not authorize any previous Pro Tools M-Powered version
• Any iLok can be used to store your Pro Tools MP 9 authorization, including an iLok from an original Pro Tools M-Powered purchase
